Do you know how long ago this purported floor contact was happening? There was time when I was very young, in the mid 1990s where rarely my order calls were routed directly to the floor. Those conversations were curt and lasted seconds. Learned to always tape record broker calls even if not to the floor in case of a screwup which thankfully never happened. This was pre-online order entry. Around the same time my main futures broker introduced a 1-800# that had automated order entry and management, think of it like the robot voice you get as the front face of most customer support these days. I guess it was an early form of automation back then, and proper online order entry came within 1-2 years as the WWW grew exponentially early on.

Even if he was calling into the floor presume it was a fraction of his claimed size. 1 contract instead of 10, or 10 instead of 100, and so on... haha.
