Forgot to mention that I was wondering the same thing. Even my tiny little company was able to get credit card merchant status with the local bank, and I don't expect to have millions and millions worth of sales. To give them the benefit of the doubt, if they're a legitimate going concern, Roo, they certainly do have merchant status, and perhaps just haven't figured out the intricacies of secure on-line credit card handling. That definitely should not be a barrier to taking a credit card number over the phone. Curious to see what you find out.
