I do not believe they have to ask the shareholders about anything unless they decide to liquidate or merge. On the other hand, the board of directors is supposed to act in the interest of the shareholders. The last few executives own the stock too. I think I recall reading in one of the reports that there are still stock options out there provided the stock rises above 9. Something like that.

I believe they will come up with something soon, but better they make the good decision than a fast one.
