OT: That is terrible Elroy. I only ever restored implants. I always referred the tough extractions. Tried my best to have a patient on an antibiotic prior to an extraction if their tooth was badly infected for at least 3 days to get the swelling under control. I left the actual implant placements to oral surgeons and periodontists. Long story short in 39 years of doing dentistry no one in my office ever experienced what you went through. Highly unusual to be sure. So glad you are okay! RtS
