I think although you are known to be prolific and erudite LOl that you make it too complicated ..

US fearful of #1 status loss.. China rising.. India rising (more slowly than I anticipated but accelerated by US fear of China now)

said so long ago.. US not going away, actually loss of US despite warts a very BAD thing for the world.. US is like socialism NEEDING capitalism ...but US needs to understand best they can hope for now is first among equals.. and that is political talk to get them on board.. they will be among equals :) .. US life will not change.. but life for many will improve :)
