*the reason why "Democratic"... but, a Republic... and not a "democracy" .* such a tedious corrupted nonsensical line.. you have one man one vote Right ? You have Electoral college we have Parliament right ? You ARE a democracy .. get over it and actually a country far more prone to plebiscites than us.. utter rule by the masses ... one notch above vigilantism LOL I do agree however that the structure of your congress and senate make get nothing done far easier :) which is NOT an admonition.. a parliamentary democracy is not always a good thing /? especially based on population representation
