Well US has been courting India for a long time... One might also look at South Korea, Japan (funny alliance that), and Taiwan as the Eastern version of NATO to encircle China as an aside.. Russia wrong to invade Ukraine ... even from its own perspective... putting morality aside ... not the right move.. a step back into the past.. stepped into a trap ... even if Russia prevails ... a trap longer term then ..
