Sense, am told the following, that …

1. 100% of all monetary gold (bars) imported into China are melted and re-cast in good-delivery bars for the Shanghai good-delivery bars (9999)

2. Discrepancies are charged back to the seller by contract

3. The Aussie bars were not 9999 but gold content did come up to par at 1kg of gold (meaning weighs more than 1 kg given mix of non-gold)

4. Such be bother but still 1kg of gold per bar, just not 9999

For sure bad for Perth Mint reputation.
