All true. But, imo, there is value in keeping a conversation going. Also - a curious example - I missed that “history legends” video about the Russians suffering a defeat in Vuhledar. I think it’s a revealing event - and an important video. If Win hadn’t posted it, I probably would have missed it altogether.

Good introspection......I find myself writing posts nowadays (never was a prolific poster anyway)...responses...my opinion or adding stuff I find "interesting".....and I almost always delete the post without submitting.....mostly, what I start to post doesn't add any <real> new content/context, and/or isn't going to change the minds of the already convinced (ideologue)...who doesn't read our boards anyway. I've pretty much settled into my position on most issues and not trying to change anyone's minds....there are a few individuals who obviously need to be enlightened on select subjects, but that isn't about to happen without a hammer, thumbscrews, stocks, or a good keelhauling <g>. edit: this doesn't add anything either, but will post anyway <g>
