Who said they HAVE to be high speed? My point is that you have to acknowledege the low end. There will always be those who 'if you build it, they will buy it.' But, as this thread was highly focused on in the past, the low end is the means to expand the household pc penetration. I don't know how to make a chip, but I do know how to watch the marketplace.

Bottom line, faster, more expensive chips are not guaranteed to reap immediate profits. In time, technology will advance. But the stock market wants it NOW, and somewhere in between now and forever is where I lie...
