Golfer144,
How come we are finally seeing the rest of the video footage AFTER the Jan 6 hearings are over?
I don't know. Better late than never. If any of those convicted want to use the newly-released footage in their appeals, they're welcome to do so.
And as far as peaceful protests go one of the peaceful protesters (Shaman) who was being escorted by Capitol police is serving 4 years in prison. Hmmm....
The Capitol police already answered that question. They were severely undermanned and were focused more on de-escalation and convincing the crowd to leave, rather than using force which would rile up the crowd even more.
And the execution of Babbitt was part of the 7% non peaceful protest
It wasn't an execution. It was a perfectly justifiable use of deadly force in response to her violent acts.

No need to remind me that she was unarmed, because she was backed by an unruly, violent mob who threatened the lives of the cops and those they swore to protect.
