LU would be a stock deal. IBM would have to be stock & cash, IMO. I'd love it either way Indeed, I've held since 48 and change, it's time for this pup to MOVE!

Egads, I woke up this morning to find the night people on this thread surely must be smoking the brand of Olympic champions. So much takeover speculation that I thought I was on the ASND thread. Are we that desperate? Let me see if I got this right: 1) a) 3COM combines with Cabletron becoming 4COM, -or- ....b) 3COM combines with Newbridge becoming King of the Token ........Ring, -then- 2) A biding war breaks out and the ensuing entity is gobbled by ....a) AT&T ....b) Lucent ....c) Siemans ....d) IBM This is all very nice but what do I get for my shares, $50? $75? $100? One can always tell when stockholders are restless. o~~~ O
