The more information I am getting on the SIVB fiasco, the more I think by Monday the FDIC will have this under control and a plan worked out for depositors, enough that the panic is going to subside and the systemic collapse fears will drop. SIVB appears to a case of a bank with poor liability management, that got burned during a time when above average expertise in that area is required. To make matters worse, their announcement, at the same time as the SI bank announced its closure, resulted in unfortunate, unwanted dot connecting.
High probability for a rally next week from oversold. Still not bottom fishing on banks just yet though.
