Having world currency status corrupted American capitalism.

It developed into putting money in non productive activities and assets.

Any time money was doled out left and right a crisis ensued. Greenspan tried to stave the collapse of 2001? Created the subprime.

Trying to save the economy in 2008? When was cripto invented? Right after 2008.

That model of doling out cash left and right is crashing the real economy. The economy is hooked on Easy Money. Can't get out of the habit.

2023: “Bank Term Funding Program (BTFP)", a fancy name to avoid a systematic collapse in case there is a flight of deposits across the system was announced by the Fed few hours ago.

A sort of “enormous” QE. (ever heard of QE+ rate hikes :-)
