Resolution/refresh rates...VS...Software......appian/colorgraphics

Dirk, thanks for your evaluation. I'm not too much of a techie so your opinion is considered highly.

For daytrading purposes, I'm not sure how important refresh rates are for running BMI real time charts, a chat room, the internet, and some level 2 screens. My monitors will be different sizes (15,17,21) and of differnent makes (NEC and Viewsonic).

This is my only use for the graphics card. How big of difference would I see in the above programs using Colorgraphic's faster refresh and higher resolution versus Appian's?

From your evaluation I take it that Appian's software is superior, but Colorgraphics refresh rates/resolution are better.
For trading purposes would you give refresh rates a higher priority than software? (I read at Tom's Hardware site that driver software can really affect the performance of NT programs.)

Pae, thanks for your research as well.

Thanks,
S.W.

I'm using the Appian J2 card and you can adjust the refresh rates for each separte monitor.
I've run the card both on a Windows N.T. 4.0, 200Pro with 120m Ram and also on a Windows 95 133P,64m Ram and it works great on both expect that on the N.T. 4.0 ,I had some problems with the mouse pointer disappearing which I coudn't solve so I prefer to run in on the Win 95 Machine.
