Tell me why Powell should pause

Powell should pause for many reasons, the #1 reason is that each raise in rates takes several quarters in time to filter through the system. So, if we're slowing down and he continues to slam the brakes - he'll break even more industries than just some poorly run banks.

No, inflation has not come down the way everyone would like to see. However, being backwards looking at a time when we need a forward vision is the mistake made time and time again.

Take a look at the 10 year bond market. It's dropped 50 basis points in the past 2 \weeks - the market is screaming to Powell, slow down. Give this a little time.

Will the FED listen?

Those saying pivot are talking out of their "proverbials". I could see them pausing for a year or more. But pause is exactly what they should do...IMO.
