Tom: Where does Suharto get the money to institute a Currency Board and implement it. The 20 billion or so dollars in reserves won't be of much help as this is probably needed to meet the monthly requirements of the country. So what is the scoop here? Anyone knows?

Tom, your repost from Reuters sadly underlines your opinion of some weeks back that civil strive is a distinct possibility in Indonesia. Suharto is history IMO. The only question is: When?

I value your insight into the local situation. I'll not do anything in Indonesia before you tell me that you get more positive about the situation there.
