Steve:>>what do you think the market will do today? Since its a long weekend and anything can happen in three days - war maybe, traders might take their profits. <<

I agree with this assessment. However, my record in forecasting one day moves is about 50-50 [which means I do about as well as a coin would]. Under normal market conditions [this is not normal it is crazy!], Fridays are usually good days to sell as Mondays are generally down days. With all due respect for the good small traders out there, I do not regard traders hired by investment houses very highly [sorry, this goes for Cramer too]. During my school days [around the time Cramer started working at the street], it used to be that if you were not good enough for investment banking you were offered a position in trading.

>>On the other hand, maybe they all have humongous short positions personally and are playing with their customer's pension fund savings to try for another record.<<

Doubt it most of them have surrendered to the Bull. They just follow the crowd. They will buy until the day they panic; then watch out!

Sorry I could not be of more help!
