no not really... no one gets left behind here ... if I have a choice between dying of cancer or getting a faster diagnosis .. I'll take that.. I am not bragging.. not rich .. I forsake nonsense for value

Give you an example.. I know a guy that loved playing tennis.. (55) had a knee replacement .. was playing tennis 4 months later.. I am concerned about left knee .. I ski hard.. STILL .. so I inquired about knee replacements.. ski well at 65+.. you should be fine.. but do not take it up at that age after surgery.. I have seen two chaps at HD that had replacements.. they are still cripples comparatively .. They can do bare necessitates .. Neither was/is sportive.. that result would kill me.. so I am willing to forsake Mexico vacay for a knee that WORKS ..

are you different ? I bet no

do not be foolish .. in Canada there are different levels of results due to quality of prosthetics .. that is reality .. I need BETTER than shopping ability and am willing to pay..

Example 2.. A work bud (35) has physically challenged son.. he would never be able to meet the bills stateside.. I AM HAPPY TO PAY MY TAXES that support him .. HAPPY.. I wish my youngest sis would just come home...

Don't Quibble or misjudge.. don't be disingenuous

No matter how I bitch about Canada.. I would live nowhere else .. we can do better

I have to go one further.. There have been hospital scandals (in Canada) where a donation to the doc's favourite cause in his name got you the best treatment/prosthetic .. so THERE ARE DIFFERENT options.. That is the reality .. My Brother in law with whom I skied with at Whistler 11 years ago with my nephew (19 then) and my son (12 then) .. relegated me to the easy trails mostly .. he needed a hip replacement .. I was 55 then as was he.. He was told wait until 72.. So in essence no consideration of lifestyle is counted in the POSITIVE sense .. THAT is BULLSHIT .. He labours today .. NO skiing.. no golf.. No softball .. When he gets his replacement following the rules .. he will be comfy grocery shopping .. maybe

Bullshit

if you afford it .. do it .. you are not taking away from anyone .. we do have two tiers.. .. and if you do not see that.. you are blind
