In the phase III there was apparently no deaths in the Depocyt group while 1 death in the methtrexate group. I feel Dr. Castro is correct in this being a mortal disease and resultant deaths will be a statistic constant. The variable response in the balance of treatment group is what is significant.

John,

Do you think it is likely that DEPO will be able to get DepoCyt approval without conducting additional clinicals (beyond the Phase IV)? My concern is that with the combined concerns of small numbers in the trials and negative side effects, the FDA may insist on more data. What do you think?

I must apologize for my language

But DEPO is taking off. Although I sold all my position today with the rise in price. That was a fast profit.

Let me explain about my statement. Actually, I am not an expert in analyzing trials but I asked someone who is. A DR. and a Ph.D. and he was very honest and sincere and didn't like the fact that about 5% of the people died during the trial. Yes, I know these people are very sick but still... Just something to think about. I still see DEPO as a bargain but just want to lock in some good profits. Going on a golfing vacation in March and need the big bucks. Anyone want to join?
