Re <<It isn't over yet>>

... and according to Martin, it hasn't started yet

Gold has not broken out yet. That will take a monthly closing above the 2100 level.

Gold & the Breakout

MONDAY, MARCH 20, 2023
BY: MARTIN ARMSTRONG

COMMENT: Marty, Thank you for clearing the air regarding gold. The rally had nothing to do with the money supply. It is a confidence game. The local bullion dealers were sold out. The spread on the spot to physical coin has widened sharply showing again what you have been saying that there is a shortage of retail metals compared to professional trading.

Thank you for the education compared to the typical buy all the time because the Fed will create money. That is getting so old.

REPLY: Look, most of the rhetoric is nothing more than salesmanship. Gold has not broken out yet. That will take a monthly closing above the 2100 level. We can see that gold has rallied back to test the top of the core uptrend channel. My concern here is looking at the Weekly Array, it has aligned with the ECM. Ideally, whatever we git in April would normally provide the opposite trend into June.

We have such a convergence of factors, it is impossible to say which one will be at the top of the heap. Between a banking crisis and war, the Biden Administration is just totally incompetent. They have been so driven by WOKE, they are sending the country to go BROKE. Whatever should be done, is not being done. I believe they bailed out SVB only because the board was big Democratic donors and the bank had 85% of its money from California Democrats - the worst of the lot.

So stay on top of the Reversals in here, for they will point to the swings in direction between here and April and then followed by June.

Btw, as time is flying, coconut is nearly done w/ freshman year of college by mid-May, and is supposed to make some progress to make her way in the media / entertainment industry so that she can avoid attending law school, she has been back in HK for the past week to scope out possibilities of internship(s) anywhere on this planet. She skipped the traditional Florida Spring Break even as invited to Palm Beach, Jupiter Island, which is quite ritzy.

She has been networking and shall do another week of networking before returning to school. Once back she shall do some set interviews by zoom and where possible in person for positions to ‘make coffee’ and ‘deliver package’ and ideally to read and write. She might do one or two internships depending whether she manages to engage w/ any at all.

She actually asked me to teach her how to make coffee. I laughed, and told her most likely the coffee-making entails calling the nearest Starbucks or boutique cafe, and either Uber over or wait for delivery :0))) funny coconut.

As earlier mentioned, in the smack middle of her 3-months long summer she shall spend 4-weeks in Paris learning writing from name-brand writers. Issue, the French typically do not work in July-August. They tend to holiday or strike, depending on economic circumstances. One of five of her dorm suite mate invited her to simply holiday in south of France where the girl spends summer and intending to do waitressing. I told the nut that I am good with that solution for the time slot post- writing course, as I was goofing off even during third year college summer, and I graduated in 3-years undergraduate and went straight on to graduate school.

Truth be told I think I goofed off all the way, along the path, to this day.

Let’s see what she hunts up if successful.

She is maintaining her 4.0 gpa just in case.

The coconut has exhibited no-fear / no-apprehension / no-anxiety even as her top-tier STEM friends all without exception already picked up by corporations of rank, whereas she is a ‘gig-worker’. Interesting.

She and her friend attending another school is making plans to work in NYC for two years then do whatever albeit unclear where graduate school figures.

Her trajectory seems somewhat different than mine at her age. I remember my first job-set over freshman summer was taking inventory of (there were sooooooo many, serial numbers and labs and basements) electronic test instruments all across the campus in the daytime and acting as security / night watchman at the campus church / entertainment cafe at night. IOW I goofed off in the morning and goofed off at night.

In the meantime the campus has sent out some now-time pics to excite the kids to returning to studies
