You are a rabid Canadian Nationalist and Patriot, yet you accuse me of being a USA Patriot. In a way, that is true. But in another way, that is totally false. I do love the USA for better or for worse. That is more than I can say for my other homeland, Israel. On the other hand, I have viciously criticized the USA and was a vehement Vietnam War protestor. I have also attacked USA interference in Central and South America and applauded the Sandanusta victory in El Salvador at the time. I do not give the USA blanket,dogmatic support. I like Joe Biden, but do not support all his policies. I think his energy policy is completely misguided. Getting back to your Sister, you do not really know either since you have spent so much time away from her. People change. People change allegiances. Friends and lovers one day become enemies the next and vice versa. When a person has spent such an extended time away from a loved one, one really doesn't know where they stand anymore. You are guessing, speculating at best. What may have been true 20 years ago often has no basis in fact anymore. If you miss her, go to CA and see her.
