Doren, People don't decide... "I think I'll commit a crime today" because they might not get prosecuted because of California laws. And yet with the pullback in enforcement, with woke D.A. letting career criminals go and dismissing charges, with more and more felons going through the revolving door of "restorative justice," we see a rise in crime and a noticeable rise in brazenness. Deterrence is necessary. You don't get rid of deterrence in hopes of EVENTUALLY solving the core problems of poverty and unequal justice. That's exactly why we Californians are told to tolerate this shit. That and "STFU U Trump supporter U" ... Tenchusatsu
