I hope you have good support.

I got ankylosing spondylitis when I was 30 and a very active person and proficient athlete in multiple sports. Within two years I could barely walk, and sometimes had to deal with days as dire as the one you describe. I was lucky in that had a good support system and am very determined, but all the pain and difficulty was a key factor in sending me into a major depression a decade later. Again I had friends who helped me get out of it.

So please keep a mental eye on your psychological state, Ron. Even better, find people to keep an eye on ot for you, because it can be really hard to see yourself objectively from inside.
