It’s a surprisingly good discussion between Caroline Glick and Yoram Hazony. Relates not just to Israeli issues, but to the way the Left has been evolving all over the world, including the US.

In Israel, the liberal judges and AG’s have an enormous amount of power - and are able to directly cancel laws passed by the legislature - or cancel orders and appointments made by the government. If needed, they can entrap leaders - like Netanyahu- in endless litigations and “investigations” (sounds familiar).

This is very undemocratic - and judiciary reform has been long, long overdue. According to Glick, this reform is very moderate — the majority supports it — but the Left does not want to give up their controlling position. They want their elite of liberal lawyers to control everything as much as possible.

So…. What they couldn’t win at the ballots, they hope to win using violent street mobs.
