I believe patience is going to be needed for SHW. The cost of paint has skyrocketed over the past year so I don't know how that is going to affect their business or margins.

Back in December I got an estimate to have a complete paint job on my SUV. I was quoted $7,000 but told they couldn't get to me until February. I got a call when it was time to come in but was told they had to re-figure the cost because their costs had risen. I was told it would now cost $12,000. I'm not paying $12,000 for a paint job, so perhaps others are putting off painting projects as well.

I would assume that when new builds start to show strong growth, and I assume they will at some point, then I assume SHW will benefit as a result.

For now I am holding and will not be adding to it until they show some improvement in their forecasts.
