Only an outperform!?!?!?

NEW YORK, March 27 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley Dean Witter said it lowered its rating on Titanium Metals Corp. to outperform from strong buy... Morgan sees investors focusing again on Timet's fundamentals, which in the analyst's view slipped slightly during the first quarter. Morgan's 1998 earnings estimate went to $3.18 per share from $3.30.

BTW, that $3.18 is a 28% increase over 1997's $2.49 -- Let's see, a PE of 20-25 on that $2.49 would be a fair price of $50 per share. I think this is a keeper.
