James,

Giving all the facts that AMD has the yield problems on K6 for almost a year, why AMD does not want to outsource K6 to lessen the financial losses and make customers happy with reliable supply?

James Yu, AMD/Alcatelal alliance. Now Rockwell has a reason to buy AMD. And the Dresden engineers have something to work on besides K-7@.18u. If the Breakup value is 18 this announcement is worth at least $3.00 so AMD to $21.
