Trump's core base will become more energetic and passionate. But I don't see him gaining support outside of his core base.

Desantis is a threat to Biden's reelection bid, no doubt about that. But in the end, Biden will win or lose based on how the US economy is doing heading into the 2024 election.

There is a lot of lingering resentment toward Trump based on how he treated many people over the years.

I am quite confident that Biden will beat Trump in 2024. I am not so sure about Desantis, who in many ways, is worse than Trump.

Keep in mind that Biden was wildly unpopular during his first two years in office, yet the Dems gained a seat in the Senate and only lost a few seats in the House.

Bottom Line: Biden is a labor President. If labor is doing fine going into the 2024 elections, he will be hard to beat.
