I'm not sure that one can speculate why someone is selling - they just may need the money - for whatever reason. I expect the people exercising the warrants will have their financing in place, or else they may just exercise and sell into the market. Who knows, really? By selling they trigger capital gains, unless a) they don't declare same, or b) are resident in some tax haven?

Rick, No cash needed to exercise warrants as they can use margin in hand to buy and then only sell if they have to.
Perhaps they fear that selling will drop the price too low and they will get forced out, so they sell now??
well I am hoarding my funds for a buy time late feb/early Mar.
