Robert - Re: " the German government is pressing AMD on its financing package."

I wouldn't worry about this. AMD's Board Member from Siemens (or formerly from Siemens) will pull the right strings to keep that issue from becoming a problem.

With the Germans dealing with a German, AMD will weather that storm.

Robert - Re: AMD 0.25 micron K6 Delivery and CyberMAX

I just called CyberMAX and they NO LONGER are quoting a late February availability date for the new 0.25 micron K6 chips in notebook PCs.

Their current guidance from AMD is now LATE APRIL! That's a further two month slip!

Two possible explanations:

1. Compaq and IBM must have greatly increased their K6 orders

2. Yields haven't improved yet.

I wonder which is correct?

CyberMax does have a 333 MHZ Pentium II (Deschutes) Desktop system, however.
