I think people give LU more credit than is due them for brilliant business moves. If the folks at LU are such brilliant business people why are they running around trying to acquire everything in sight? With 130,000 people they can't even sell their own technology very effectively. LU has a very poor revenue to employee ratio around $3500. LU is far too big to compete effectively in the WDM business with CIEN. CIEN is lean, not so mean and focused in on this market.
