For weeks....nothing...and now, another: Friday February 13, 11:55 am Eastern Time American Bingo trying to buy 10-15 centers AUSTIN, Texas, Feb 13 (Reuters) - American Bingo & Gaming Corp Friday said it is actively attempting to acquire 10 to 15 additional bingo centers during the first half of 1998. ''The Company remains aggressively focused on consolidating the $5 billion North American charitable bingo industry,'' a release said. ''The Company presently has no comparable public or private competition in this market,'' the release said. American Bingo operates charitable bingo centers in Texas, Alabama, and South Carolina. It also has video gaming operations in South Carolina.
