As I have explained several times here on SI, the reasons they are doing this have to do with "resource sharing" and have nothing to do with climate change nor any other reason. As most probably know, world consumption of fossil fuels has been increasing as we have attempted to move towards wind and solar here in the USA. This is all by design. We were taught of these plans in the 1970s. I just never thought people would be crazy enough to fall for it.

When you think about what they are doing against the backdrop of resource sharing, it will begin to all make sense to you. Climate change is just a bogus excuse that they think you will accept over the idea that you have to share with other parts of the world.

India and China need energy? OK. We will have to cut back...that is the idea. It will contnue to happen until the whole world shares the same living standards. At least that is the plan. While this might help India or China, it will not be good for any of us.

The same applies to meat consumption.

Delusionally, he is not alone; on February 23rd Breitbart headlined: “WWII-Style Rationing of Meat, Clothing, and Energy Needed to Fight Climate Change, Say UK Academics”.

Great post, climate is the result of Orbit Physics and total energy output from the Sun. CO2 is an Earth hugging heavy gas that provides life on this planet. Every living thing needs Sucrose to exist and CO2, water and Sunlight produces it in vegetation. 65 million years ago the CO2 in the atmosphere was 8,000 PPM and the entire Earth was covered in Vegetation. March 2023 CO2 in the atmosphere was 421 PPM. Earth completed a minor warming cycle from 12,000 years ago in 2009 and is now just starting at least a 300 year or so minor cooling cycle. gml.noaa.gov

Sunspots? Sure; they've been going down while the temperature has been going up.

Some curious things about Svensmark et al. reference list

Posted on 25 December 2017 by Ari Jokimäki

The hypothesis of significant effect of cosmic-rays to climate has been shown wrong many times. This is a pet hypothesis of Henrik Svensmark, who continues to push papers on the subject to scientific journals.

This aged poorly.

Svensmark: "global warming stopped and a cooling is beginning" – "enjoy global warming while it lasts" – Watts Up With That?

In fact global warming has stopped and a cooling is beginning. Mojib Latif from the University of Kiel argued at the recent UN World Climate Conference in Geneva that the cooling may continue through the next 10 to 20 years. His explanation was a natural change in the North Atlantic circulation, not in solar activity. But no matter how you interpret them, natural variations in climate are making a comeback.
