Norm,

I have written 2 disassemblers in my past to do just what you are talking about! ( Both times I was told that it wasn't possible, and after I wrote the first one (circa 1972), I knew that I was correct. ) In addition do disassembling the code, the program provided 'flowcharts' that helped in the location of 'orphaned' code. The reason that the task was accomplished in the first place was two-fold. One, the original program was noted in Swedish, and we couldn't read that, and two, when you had made a change to your program, it was always popular for the management to ask the ever popular question, "Are your 'flowcharts' up to date? "! After my program was in operation, my answer would always be, "Of course, and they have already been typed!" That took care of that problem!
