Not quite true. Humans possess the power of free will, to submit or rebel against G-d's will. Most humans do a combination or mixture of both

But yes, G-d writes the book in regard to each human being. It is up to you whether you accept that or not.

Rebelling doesn't change anything objectively speaking except in the mind and creative spirit of the participant.
