I see you like to exaggerate. The USA is still the reserve currency of the World. That is not changing status anytime soon.

Why would China even bother to flip-flop like this, if they truly supported PooTin's war of choice?

The truth is that China doesn't support it, at least not on the record.

They may want to help PooTin behind the scenes, but that depends on how much that costs China and what they would get out of it.
