I e-mailed the company and got a pretty fast response back. Smallest quantity that you can order is 1000 cartridges at $8500.

As far as compatibility, they claim they are compatible. I listed laptop Zip, IDE Zip, and Zip Plus, and they didn't tell me that it would not work on laptop Zip.

As far as a warranty, he said "will be repaced if damaged".

He didn't answer my question about availability.

He also forwarded me a copy of the Nomai court press release from News.com.

It doesn't sound like much of a threat to me at this time. (The real threat will be the precedent if they get away with it.)
