Jfred, Pete, Alex, and All,

That particular stunt is all the more impressive when it is taken into its timerame of the late 1950s, when there were no personal computers, and all those card codes had to be configured by hand.

For more details on the car stunt, allow me to proffer that I heard from a usually reliable source that the disassembled and reassembled car was a Volkswagen and was reassembled in a broom closet, but I could have the details a little mixed on that one.

I like the one about the time the pranksters repainted portions of the parking lot, completely obliterating the dean's personal reserved parking space. I laughed uncontrollably upon hearing about the dorm door that was sheetrocked and wallpapered over while it's resident was away for the evening.

There's a book somewhere which tells of these masterpranks, and many others. I can't remember the name of it, but a search on the Net should find it.

For Pete: Thanks for the JPGs. Here are some URLs to Sunet in Sweden. The first URL will get you there and to the FTP URLs following, which contain a vast collection of art. The FTP sites are easier for me to play around in, so that's why I included them.

ftp.sunet.se

ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/

ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pictures/art/

ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pictures/art/misc/

BTW, Some day I hope to acquire a soundcard and maybe even a whole new computer setup. But for now . . .
