Irrigation canals: brilliant. Tons of parking lots are getting panels... Walmarts. Personally I'm reading up on rooftop. Gets easier and better everyday. I hate my power company. Someday I hope to be completely disconnected. I'm really into passive solar too, its far more cost effective at this point. Solar water heat is also far more cost effective. Combine Solar water heat with a tankless water heater... not only do you free ups square footage, you're gonna save tons of money. I'm sure the Russian Bots will dispute this... OF COURSE.

California will be the first state in the nation to install solar panel canopies over canals to combat drought and climate change. Nothing that humans do or don't do in California will change the climate one iota. However, if and when the Mammoth/Long Valley caldera erupts again, you will definitely see some climate change at that time, at least for a few subsequent years, as that volcanic caldera is bigger than Yellowstone.. This post is just a quick drive by, so I won't be here to respond to your hockey stick graphs and "climate crisis" nonsense. Keep up the hysteria on this stupid board, 24/7, if that spins your crank. It's rather sad that you don't otherwise have a life..
