marcie, it may be. after looking at the news releases yesterday i get a gut instinct the erox is being squeezed out at the bigger retail outlets(macys dillards etc) earnings momentum is gone, growth is gone and research and development last year was joke.(for obvious reasons $$ ) also look at the inventory for year end--over $ 3 million worth of product sitting on the shelf at erox, this with valentines day already upon us. i think we are going to see an other poor qtr for 3/98 . erox needs some real news, opening distribution channels is nice , but look what happened this year with all the new doors opened in 96. erox growth in 96 was more related to store filling, then in 97, the "just in time " adjustment was made and we are see a tailing off of product sales. once again patent on phermones is real nice, but erox has not been able to leverage the patent. it may pay to take some of the money on this turkey and place elsewere ..who knows , erox could go to book value and sell for roughly a 1/4. xmas is a real warning sign approx 35% decline from 96! i hope erox is able to turn it around , they face and uphill challenge, untill then erox stock price will go up and down on pure speculation. what a negative outlook, but erox has yet to prove otherwise.. did anyone hear the conf call??
