Just a reminder, Balti is in Italy so 401Ks and IRAs might be irrelevant in his situation. I'm not sure how the tax situation of long term versus short term capital gains will affect him. I assume he might have US taxes and Italian taxes. Related to carrying Ted's book with you where ever you go, you may have missed it but despite the fact that I have multiple copies of Ted's book, I found a free .pdf version of the book online at the pdfdrive.com website and I2, Pacscumhalf, and I use it to reference with with want to point out something in the book buy page number since page numbers for different editions tended to vary a little. The edition that pdfdrive.com is an older edition but we have found no difference in Ted's words or charts to that found in other editions. Newer editions vary mostly due to new prefaces added by Ken Roberts or his company. Roberts acquired the rights to publish the book after Ted's death. By the way, I've got my CLX computations mostly automated now and I am working on automated plotting. After I grab the price, volume, and dividend data and paste it into one of my spreadsheets, running my Visual Basic for Applications code copies the individual DJIA stock price and volume data to the sheet I set up for the stock, the OBV and OBVpp are calculated, the determination of the UPs and DOWNs designation are determined, the CLX and CLXpp counts are tallied, and these are entered in my spreadsheet where all the CLX related moving averages and such are computed ... and all this is done in less than five seconds. The big deal for me is that only once has there been a mistake in this and this was when I placed a dividend on a stock that belonged to another stock. Before I got this automation, I was often making mental errors. So the process I go through every night was taking 30 minutes or longer every night and now I can do it in 10 to 15 minutes due to my time setting up the data for the day. But I still spend another 10 to 15 minutes reporting on Crystal Ball Forum (CBF) and I guess as long as I remain a part of that group, the reporting time will be a relative constant. Thanks for all wisdom you have shared. WEagle (also autex on CBF)
