Wharfie, the Trump tax cut didn't cut into revenue, as I have already demonstrated with data. Federal tax revenue continued to grow throughout the Trump administration until the pandemic threw a wrench into the machine. Even if you average out the pandemic, however, federal tax revenue grew by an average of 8% every year from 2017 to 2022. Lots of people would LOVE to have an annual raise of 8% every year.
