heh,heh,heh...

When you catch the golden egg...be very careful..you could end up with some of it on your face...

LONNNGGGG ooonnnn DDEELLLL.

I remember all too well others making a similiar forecast ever since
I bought the stock last June. That was at 107/share..with very few
exceptions it has had many more days in the black than in the red.

Just be careful, my friend...I don't understand "puts" and I've never "shorted" so I certainly am not one to critique another person's investment strategy. All I know is because of what Dell did for my portfolio I only sold enough to cover my initial investment and a small profit..the rest is on this ride long term

Good luck!

T.R.

How do puts work? Is it shorting DELL? I wouldn't do it. This stock is a steady riser. My advice is get in ASAP and then BUY more shares when you can. If you aren't in by Today or Monday you'll be missing the the boat. You'll wish you would have bought DELL so you can feel the warm & fuzzy of watching your investment grow.

This stock did dip a little at the end of the year over false Asian fears. Or maybe investors wanted some good Christmas presents so they sold a few shares. But in the long run Dell will make you $$$!

See the charts.

FT:
It is always distessing to see bears get hurt here, even your unique and different kinsfolks are mostly gone and we miss the entertainment.
Very few people here are purposely lying, joke a lot always, mostly over-optimistic on earnings in dollars, but still underestrimate the
value of Dell stock to the 'street'
Here is ny best guess on Dell for the next week...
Never under 110,as there is huge support below that..
A few more points up on Monday or Tuesday, quiet on Weds.
Thurday up $4 plus. Dell never dissapoints on earnings.
And there will be some kind of surprize in that Weds report, don't
know exactly what...Possible split, possible $4 mil/day web sales
Possible stock buy-back extension. Or they have just doubled the production capability??????( They have already done that with the
plant in Ireland, and they have sometimes sold over $6 mil/day on the web )
So we a probably looking at $122 sh before it has a chance to back down, and I hope you are set up to work around that situation.
The recent negative articles on cpq will help Dell (if street
is going to invest in computer stock go with the one that does not face (potential)problems)
Two things might give you a chance- a war in the Gulf, but that won't happen until the 24 th because congress approval
is needed.
Or a vicious rumor repeated on TV about Dell or computer stocks in general. (this did happen recently but I hope the
people that read the market news on TV will check out the next rumor more closely)
And now back to the Olympics, this the original ski-jump...
