I really don't care how much tax billionaires pay. Make it 99% for all I care. It doesn't directly affect me.

But there are issues of fairness and balance. What is a fair proportion of the taxes that the top earners should pay? Right now the top 1% pays 42% of the income taxes. The top 25% pays 88%. Is that fair? Do we have a structural problem with our democracy caused by the tax responsibility?

Not a simple problem.

Here is the fixed statement:
If these huge corporations are taxed a high rate, they have no incentive to grow capitalism.
And it's not just Walmart and Amazon.

It's also Intel, AMD, Google, Facebook, Apple, nVidia, and every high-tech juggernaut that gives America the undisputed lead in high-tech.
