The proof is NOT in the pudding. The proof is in the eating. Americans won't toe the line on such expressions. They tow the line and viola, get everything wrong. A viola is a string instrument. A voila is something else. It's a strange phenomenon. The same cognitive failure leads them to start wars by attacking, then accuse the defenders of attacking them. It's hubris writ large. Overweening arrogance.
