The recovery of demand is a question of timing and magnitude. The direction of (for example my expectation) was pretty much what I expected.

As far as embedded (Xilinx) being strong in Q1 and is expected to be weaker in Q2 - there is not really any good way to forecast these, and if they just happened to be reversed, Q1 would have been closer to my lower expectation and Q2 closer to my higher expectation.

So the whole exceeding Q1 and guiding lower in Q2 was entirely driven by Xilinx.

AMD is guiding client and datacenter up. Most of the carnage in last couple of quarters came from client (which posted a loss) so the recovery will disproportionately depend on some of this recovery taking place in client. Which is what was said during the CC.
