Just for you, BC. Lots of people, especially those who served in the military, think this ad from the Marine Corps is a breath of fresh air after the "woke" nonsense coming out of the Army and Navy:

Two thoughts:

- The YouTube video was posted six months ago, but is only getting attention now, possibly in response to the rising controversy over the "woke" Army and Navy.

- Still, the ad looks like it's catering to the Call of Duty crowd. I guess that's excusable given that its target audience are young people, but I for one am a bit uncomfortable with the whole "war as a video game" theme. (I LOVE the theme when I'm actually playing video games, though, but not for real life.)

The Navy might want to rethink its "woke" recruitment campaign after seeing what happened to Budweiser.

I can see it now. That drag queenie launching the Navy's newest "cruiser", the Good Ship Lolly Pop, with a bottle of Bud Light.
