Only Sir Alan Greenspan had the fortitude to do the stunning policy reversals meeting to meeting that I anticipated. Powell is just too predictable in a cowardly and obtuse sort of way. Watching this train wreck unfold reminds me of how good we had it under the legendary Mr. Greenspan. I'm not on Powell's wavelength, and won't try to predict his moves again, without watching video of a snail trying to cross a high speed highway first (for better insight).
