Judging by market, "Air Force 1" is a popular and influential rental.

Human nature - hey wasn't it a doc - I could have sworn it was - are you correct. Interesting stat - more Canadians watch the Xfiles than watch National Geographic and most of the viewers would certainly contend that both were documentaries. I have not seen AirForce 1 but I believe that Kazak terrorists take over the pres plane - probably though monica was on board - clearly the script writers had never been to Kazakstan. They probably liked the exotic sound of the name.

Just to put the record straight - just because Kazakstan beat canada recently in the world junior hockey chapms - is no excuse to label them as terrorists. Kazaks were certainly a part of the great horde which ravaged eastern europe and asia but there is so little real political unrest in this country at present that the depiction in this film is quite out of national character. Probably just as likely that Australian Monarchists would take over the pres plane after the republican referendum on 1999. Hey makes life interesting.
